What is it about cars that we love so much? For many its the act of driving itself, the pure excitement that one gets when taking to the road and cruising down the distant paths to freedom. Many have likened driving to disconnecting from the rigid prisms of the human body and exploring the outside world. Automobiles are able to offer you something that real people can’t, and plus it doesn’t talk back to you either. Unless you are Knight Rider of course. Furthermore, cars are also extremely beautiful and glisten like a private island in the sun as well as providing shelter in the rain and snow. Like it or not, cars really are one of the best things in the world.

However, that’s not to say that they are all perfect with some cars more of an embarrassment that a thing of beauty. While they do say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, some cars should probably be left indoors and are unsightly at best. In fact, some cars are so awfully unattractive that numerous car lovers and enthusiasts across the globe have even refused to set foot in them, never mind drive them. But, like all things, not everything is about aesthetics, with some cars also lacking in the performance department. Yes, a number of expensive cars all over the world lack in what should be good engineering but instead offers its customers a shoddy drive and an even worse experience. The Bugatti Veyron is a mid-engined sports car developed by Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. The car was named the coveted, Top Gear’s Best Car Driven All Year Award in 2005 and remains a favorite of the host, Jeremy Clarkson. However, although it might be praised worldwide, the car has also been criticised for a number of things, especially its appearance. That’s right, Ron Dennis, otherwise known as the man in charge of McLaren Automotive, recently panned the Bugatti Veyron by calling it a “complete piece of junk” as well as “pig ugly.” Well, he would say that, wouldn’t he?


The Pininfarina Sergio is a luxurious concept car produced by Italian design house, Pininfarina. The car was first released at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show as a tribute to famed designer and former chairman, Sergio Pininfarina.

Ferrari built just six units of the vehicle and sold them to customers that they had handpicked themselves.

However, the car has been ridiculed with regards to Ferrariā€™s desperate need to make its sports cars more pragmatic for daily driving, with the car in no such place to do so. Plus, the company has also been attacked for personally choosing its customers and has been accused of elitism.
